LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – As some Michiganders continue recovering from last week’s severe storms, state officials are reminding customers that they may qualify for automatic utility outage credits.
Under Michigan Public Service Commission rules, eligible customers can receive a $42 bill credit for prolonged or repeated power outages, with an additional $42 for each day an outage continues after meeting eligibility requirements.
