Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport has a new name as it attempts to remedy decreasing passenger traffic, but there are bright spots ahead. The airport continues to expand, and in June, Frontier Airlines announced it is returning to the airport with nonstop service to Las Vegas. Other carriers are also adding direct flights from the airport, such as JSX to Santa Monica.
