AUSTIN (KXAN) — The City of Austin said it has spent over $100,000 cleaning up graffiti on private property since October.
It’s part of a graffiti removal pilot program approved by the Austin City Council in the fall. The move cleared the city to respond directly to 311 complaints, instead of relying on property owners for removal.
There is no charge to property owners for graffiti removal.
