JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Jackson Mayor John Horhn has appointed Bishop Ronnie Crudup to the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority Board of Commissioners as well as five municipal court judges, city officials announced Thursday.
“Bishop Crudup has been a part of this city’s story for decades, and he understands what Jackson needs to move forward,” Horhn said in a statement. “I wanted someone on the board who knows this community, who asks the right questions, and who will stand up for the people of Jackson.”
“I am honored to serve the City of Jackson and this administration. I am hopeful that my appointment to the Airport Board will result in better management of this vital asset, and securing Jackson’s long term interest in the airport,” Crudup added…
