Pujya Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami, a renowned life coach, spiritual leader, and internationally acclaimed speaker from BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, delivered an inspiring keynote titled Think Different, Be Different, Succeed Different before an audience of more than 1,000 people at the Hilton Jackson on Wednesday evening.
The event brought together leaders and members of Indian American religious, cultural, and civic organizations from across Mississippi, including BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir – Jackson, Hindu Temple Society of Mississippi, Sitaram Hindu Temple, Shiv Shakti Dham, Gujarati Samaj of Mississippi, Ahmedabad Mitra Mandal, Indian Socio Cultural Association, Indo-American Heritage of Mississippi, and other community organizations.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of an official proclamation by Jackson Mayor John Horhn declaring July 8, 2026, as “Dr. Gnanvatsal Swami Day” in the City of Jackson in recognition of his contributions to promoting universal values, character development, and community harmony.
