PAPILLION, Neb. (WOWT) – A man was trapped inside his home after a large tree crashed through the structure during storms late Wednesday night, according to neighbors and city officials.
Neighbors Mike Botos and Ruth Rodgers said they watched the tree come down and immediately feared for the couple inside.
“The whole tree was uprooted and came down on their house,” Rodgers said. “Then there was a big old swoosh and down came the tree. I mean it was just like that. 10 seconds. Swoosh.”
