NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — The Nampa mother accused in the death of her newborn will, her lawyer said during a hearing today, plead guilty as part of an agreement with prosecutors.
After two delays and a status hearing, Allysen Armenta will enter her plea on July 30. The plea agreement has not yet been revealed. Currently, she is charged with three felonies and a misdemeanor:
- Death-Fail to Notify or Delay Notification of Death (F)
- Children-Injury To Child (F)
- Evidence-Destruction, Alteration or Concealment(F)
- Arrests & Seizures-Resisting or Obstructing Officers(M)
The court ruled her competent to continue with the case earlier this year after a mental health evaluation.
