Maryland Gov. Wes Moore bringing Democratic ‘Flip the Future’ tour to the Lowcountry

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Maryland Gov. Wes Moore will make a stop in the Lowcountry on Monday, July 13, as part of the South Carolina Democratic Party’s “On the Road to Flip the Future” tour, bringing a nationally recognized Democratic leader to Charleston County.

Moore, who became Maryland’s first Black governor in 2022 and only the third Black governor elected in U.S. history, is scheduled to visit House District 116 as part of a series of community events designed to connect voters with Democratic candidates and activists.
