Mount Pleasant woman arrested, facing charges of ill-treatment toward animals

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — A woman was arrested after authorities seized multiple animals from her property following an investigation into their condition, law enforcement confirmed to News 4.

Audra McCall, 36, was taken into custody and charged with 12 counts of ill treatment of animals, according to officials. She was booked following an assessment by animal control officers, who determined the animals’ condition warranted their removal.
