G.W. Carver Tigerettes host line dancing fundraiser

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The G.W. Carver Tigerettes held a Line Dancing Night at Carver High School, with admission proceeds going directly to individual dancers’ fees.

Guests chose a Tigerette to support upon arrival, and every dollar spent on admission went to that dancer’s account. Community members of all ages attended, filling the floor alongside the dance team.

‘For all ages’

Tigerettes Coach and Theatre and Dance Teacher Tamela Ransom said the event was designed to bring the broader community together.

“This is for all ages, we’ve got family members; cousins, aunts, dads have come out tonight,” Ransom said. “We’re just excited to get everybody together to move and have some fun.”…
