Man sentenced for breaking into a Midland County home last fall

MIDLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) – A Lansing man convicted of breaking into two police officers’ home in Midland County last year was sentenced on Thursday.

According to the Midland County Prosecutor, 47-year-old Nicholas John Premo will spend eight to 40 years in prison.

Premo was convicted of all the charges, including:

  • First-degree home invasion, third habitual offense.
  • Breaking and entering a building with intent.
  • Possession of burglar’s tools.
  • Larceny in a building.
  • Malicious destruction of personal property.
  • Breaking and entering a vehicle to steal property.
