DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) – Former West Virginia quarterback Pat White was honored Thursday night at The Waterfront in Daphne ahead of the retirement of his jersey number at his alma mater.
White, a Daphne native, starred for the Daphne Trojans before going on to play at West Virginia. In his senior season with the Trojans, he rushed for more than 1,900 yards and 31 touchdowns and threw for 1,400 yards and 14 additional touchdowns.
