After nearly a century as a South Side landmark, Dunk & Bright Furniture’s historic South Salina Street showroom in Syracuse will close its doors at 9 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026.
Founded in 1927, the family-owned business has served generations of Central New York families from its showroom, which spans more than 100,000 square feet and an entire city block on South Salina Street. The location has long been a destination for furniture shoppers throughout the region.
While the South Salina Street showroom is preparing to close, Dunk & Bright Furniture owner Joe Bright says they look forward to continuing to serve customers from its other Upstate New York locations in Clay and Rochester…
