SPOKANE, Wash. — Fire crews stopped the forward spread of a brush fire near North Indian Trail Road and West Lowell Avenue Friday morning.
The Spokane Fire Department, Spokane County Fire District 9 and the Washington Department of Natural Resources responded to the fire, which was estimated to be about 50 feet by 200 feet.
Crews arrived on scene around 9:30 a.m. and established a wet line shortly afterward. Firefighters said that the fire was 100% wetlined and the forward progression of the fire had been stopped…
