PHOENIX, Arizona — There are three major Valley highway closures that could impact your weekend drive. According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, there are two in the East Valley and one in Phoenix.
Perhaps the most populated weekend highway that will be temporarily shut down is SR-51. The northbound lanes will be closed from the Mini Stack to Colter St. for pavement improvements.
