Cleveland police search for person of interest after woman dies falling from ATV on street

CLEVELAND (WJW) — Following the death of a woman who fell from an ATV, the Cleveland Division of Police is asking for the public’s help in finding a person of interest.

Police said they were called to the area of East 100th Street and Buckeye Road on May 17 for reports of dirt bikes and ATVs on the street

Upon arrival, they learned a person driving a red ATV was doing a “wheelie” when their passenger fell off the back. Video footage of the incident reportedly shows the driver stopping at first, but then driving off, leaving the passenger behind.

Police said they believe a person on a white dirt bike saw what took place that day, and they’d like to speak to them.

The passenger was identified as Yarianalie Garcia, a 23-year-old from Lakewood. She was taken to the hospital but later died from her injuries…
