GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A man was found guilty of voluntary manslaughter on Friday in connection to the stabbing death of a man in Greensboro, according to Chief Assistant District Attorney Christopher Parrish.
According to police, around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 15, 2026, they were called about a stabbing on Champion Way.

At the scene, they found Jesse Pitonzo, 26, who had been stabbed.
Pitonzo was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries.
