The San Diego Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is releasing the identities of the victims in the Ramona double homicide.
On Monday, July 6, 2026, at approximately 8:44 p.m., deputies from the Ramona Sheriff’s Substation responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon involving a firearm in the 600 block of 11th Street in Ramona.
Upon arrival, deputies located a male at the steps of the residence. He was detained without incident. Deputies entered the home and discovered an adult female victim and adult male victim suffering from significant traumatic injuries. Emergency medical personnel were requested, who arrived shortly after. The victims succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene…
