SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Crews with the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded on Friday afternoon to a cliff rescue at Torrey Pines.
A chopper that flew over the scene around 4:30 p.m. captured footage of a crew transporting an individual up the cliff via stretcher.
“Lifeguards received a 911 call of a person experiencing a medical emergency on the Citizens Trail here at Black’s Beach,” said John Maher, Marine Safety Lieutenant with the City of San Diego Fire Rescue Department, Lifeguard Services Division.
