DELAWARE — Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson has called romance scams “among the most devastating crimes targeting older Ohioans.”
That’s why his office held the 2026 World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Conference on June 29, where the attorney general unveiled a statewide initiative to further combat romance scams and similar forms of financial exploitation targeted towards older adults.
