HCA Florida Palms West breaks ground on new West Palm Beach ER opening in 2027

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — HCA Florida Palms West Hospital broke ground Friday on a new emergency room in West Palm Beach, with the facility expected to open in 2027.

The new facility will be built at 6694 Okeechobee Blvd. and is expected to open in the spring of 2027, according to a news release from HCA Florida.

According to HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, the freestanding emergency room will include 11 treatment rooms, advanced imaging and laboratory services, and board-certified emergency physicians. The center will provide the same level of emergency care as a hospital-based emergency department, including treatment for life-threatening illnesses and injuries.
