It’s Not Mean to be Green Returns for a Third Summer of Performances and Community Fun at Kennett Library
For many families, the Kennett Library is known as a destination for summer reading. For dozens of young performers each July and August, it also becomes a theatre.
Now in its third consecutive summer, the Kennett Library is once again hosting It’s Not Mean to be Green Theatre Camp, based on children’s author and playwright Jamie Kleman’s book and original musical. The two-week camp blends literacy, performing arts, creativity, and environmental education before culminating in free performances for families and the community.
