An 8-year-old boy is dead after he was struck by a pickup truck driver as he was riding on an electric scooter in Brooklyn Park.
On Friday at 2 p.m., police were called to the intersection of Candlewood Drive and Brunswick Ave N on reports of a collision involving a child.
