A Wichita man has been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for leaving a woman dying on the side of the road after she fell out of his moving car.
Johnny D. Moore, 37, was ordered Thursday to serve 130 months in connection with the death of 30-year-old Chapre Dashae Cole, Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Lyndsee Stover said. He was found guilty at his May trial of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident where he knew someone had been injured or died.
