DENVER (KDVR) — Several construction workers helped an animal control officer rescue ducklings that fell into a storm drain while trailing their mother in Littleton.
In a video posted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, an animal control officer can be seen using a large net to scoop the ducklings out of the drain, while a construction worker, belly to concrete and head down the drain, helped leverage them out. Several other construction workers took the scooped-up ducklings and placed them in a carrier.

After the ducklings were rescued, the animal control officer and construction worker performed a celebratory fist bump.
