Eugene-Springfield cancer fundraiser set for Pleasant Hill High

EUGENE, Ore. – The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Eugene-Springfield is set to take place all day Saturday at Pleasant Hill High School to raise funds to help end cancer.

The event supports the American Cancer Society’s mission to fund research, advocate for patients and provide essential services. It features ceremonies honoring cancer survivors and remembering loved ones lost, along with themed relay laps, entertainment, food trucks and family activities.

“As it gets dark we have bags that line the track that are decorated by our participants whether it’s in memory of someone they have lost to cancer or in honor of someone currently battling cancer,” Salladay said…
