WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Wichita radio personality’s quest to donate a kidney will culminate with transplant surgery on Tuesday in St. Louis.
From Monday to Friday, KFDI’s JJ Hayes lives his life by the same familiar tune, serenading drivers every morning with the twangy tunes of country music.
Starting on Monday, that rhythm of routine will be different for much of the rest of the week. Hayes will go through a final round of tests with doctors that day before the procedure on Tuesday.
