UPDATE: The Columbus Police Department is investigating a homicide after a triple shooting in South Columbus Saturday July 11, 2026. The Muscogee County Coroner pronounced JaQuaivious Jordan dead on the scene in a Benning Hills neighborhood at 1:10 pm. The 23-year-old died from a gunshot wound according to Buddy Bryan.
The murder occurred at 12:45 pm on Little Drive. Two others were injured during the incident.
