MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Summer continues to chug along with plenty of heat, tons of humidity and the occasional storm on radar. While we don’t anticipate the entire weekend to be a washout, we do expected coverage of rain to ramp up as we head into Sunday; that means Saturday’s coverage is isolated, meaning a lot more dry hours and a few heavy downpours.
After a mild and muggy start to our morning, temperatures will quickly warm as we head into the afternoon… seasonable highs this time of year are usually in the low and mid 90s, and that is exactly where we find ourselves later in the day.
Not everyone will see wet weather today, but where it rains it could potentially pour – localized heavy rain and thunderstorm activity is normal this time of year, and the combine of heat and humidity will spark showers for some towns…
