SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) — A neighbor, disgruntled by the noise coming from the utility work a PG&E worker was doing nearby, took his shotgun outside and pointed it at the worker on Friday evening, according to police.
Officers with the Santa Rosa Police Department responded to the 400 block of Sonoma Avenue just after 5 p.m. Police were quickly able to identify the home of the suspect, who they identified at 66-year-old Jay Dana Joseph of Santa Rosa. Over the next two hours, officers tried to negotiate with him to come outside.
Officers were able to establish contact with Joseph’s son who was also inside the home, and, after more negotiations, both the Joseph and his son exited the home…
