SYRACUSE, N.Y. — It’s been a really nice summer weekend so far with the sun out and highs on Saturday in the mid-80s, but it really hasn’t been all that humid.
Mother Nature is going to turn up the outside thermostat a little bit more over the next couple of days.
Here’s a look at the next twenty-four hours for planning your Sunday:
Our current setup in the atmosphere is a slow-moving dome of high pressure parked right on top of the Great Lakes. Underneath the high winds are pretty light and the air stays mostly dry suppressing a lot of rain and storm development.
If you loved the weather from Saturday it looks like a rerun for Sunday, but with even lighter winds creating once again nearly perfect boating conditions:
It also looks perfect for taking the kids or grandkids to the beach on Sunday:
If you are neither going out on the boat nor going to the beach, but simply using a pool to swim in, it also looks like a great way to stay cool in this heat.
If you absolutely have to do yard work this weekend and early next week, I’d day try to go out first thing in the morning or wait till near sunset when the heat will be least intense on our bodies.
Let’s time out temperatures first, then we’ll look at the PEAK REAL FEEL TEMPS for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday:
Here’s what I think is most important to know ahead of time when trying to make decisions of doing or not doing something this week, the future REAL FEEL TEMPERATURES.
The high heat from our west this weekend will eventually be pumped into the Great Lakes and Northeast peaking Tuesday, but then slowly cooling down towards next weekend…
