A pre-dawn home invasion near 36th Street and Thomas Road in Phoenix left an adult man dead early Sunday, and detectives are now trying to piece together what happened inside the home.
Phoenix police say officers were called to the area around 4 a.m. When they arrived, Phoenix Fire personnel pronounced an adult man dead at the scene. Investigators say a suspect forced their way into the residence, and the case remains very much active as detectives work through the early stages of the investigation.
What Police Say Happened
According to ABC15 Arizona, officers learned that a suspect had pushed into the home and shot an adult man inside. Phoenix Fire crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
