Former Central Florida Deputy Arrested

A former Central Florida deputy was arrested. The former deputy was recently arrested by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office following an investigation that found he had falsified several time cards, resulting in him being paid $4,318.39 for hours he did not work.

According to local law enforcement, 25-year-old Ezekiel Williams was charged with: Scheming to Defraud; Unlawful Use of 2-Way Communication Device; Grand Theft; Official Misconduct.

According to PCSO, Williams was approved to work light-duty at Animal Control due to an ongoing medical issue; his hours were Tuesday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Each Monday he was approved to use PTO/FMLA to attend medical appointments…
