SHREVEPORT, La. – High school students from northwest Louisiana were recognized Saturday during the Shreveport-Bossier-DeSoto African American Scholarship Awards at the West Shreveport Branch Library.
As part of the program, each scholarship recipient read an original essay centered on this year’s theme, “Social Media’s Impact on Mental Health.”
