MONROE — Two Detroit men were arrested early Saturday for breaking into a Monroe Township business and setting it on fire.
Shortly after 2 a.m., officials responded to an alarm at the Dacut Cannabis Company store at 14921 LaPlaisance Rd., where they found a broken window and the building’s interior on fire, according to Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough.
Investigators determined the suspects forced entry, poured an accelerant inside and ignited it, and fled on foot, the sheriff reported. An assisting K-9 located the two suspects hiding in a tree line nearby…
