SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI) — A 29-year-old has been arrested on murder and robbery charges following a fatal stabbing at an encampment in San Diego’s Morena neighborhood on Saturday, authorities said.

According to the San Diego Police Department, officers, along with San Diego Fire-Rescue crews, responded shortly after 7:30 p.m. to multiple 911 calls reporting a stabbing near the 4700 block of Friars Road.
When first responders arrived, they found a 44-year-old man suffering from apparent stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local trauma center, where he later died from his injuries.
According to investigators, the victim, and the suspect were known to one another. Authorities said it appears an altercation broke out among several people at the outdoor encampment before the stabbing occurred…
