$3M bond set for man charged in Northeast Ohio stabbing, chase

CANTON, Ohio (WJW) — A Stark County magistrate has set $3 million bond for a man accused of stabbing a woman in Canton before leading law enforcement on a lengthy pursuit across Northeast Ohio.

According to Canton Municipal Court records, Julius Edwards is charged with attempted murder, felonious assault and domestic violence in connection with the July 7 stabbing.

The court also ordered Edwards to have no contact with the alleged victim.
