SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A family-owned restaurant group is bringing Spanish-style tapas, pintxos and paellas to the Westfield UTC mall in La Jolla.
Telefèric Barcelona opened Friday across from the popular dumpling restaurant Din Tai Fung in the mall. This is the eighth location for the Spanish restaurant group that started in Sant Cugat, Spain, in 1992.
The group opened its first U.S. restaurant in Walnut Creek, Calif., in 2016 and has since grown over the last 10 years to manage restaurants across California and Arizona, with the latest being right here in San Diego…
