The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) conducted Operation Red Eagle earlier this year, the largest American Red Cross blood drive held on a U.S. military installation, collecting more than 1,500 units of blood in six days.
The Fort Campbell community also registered more than 400 bone marrow donors through the Department of Defense Salute to Life Bone Marrow Program.
