» Co-defendant Shooting Case Severs As One Pleads Guilty, the Other Goes to Trial

After a shooting in April, defendant Tomekyo Williams,45, decided to opt for a jury trial while his co-defendant Javon Brown, 22, took a plea deal.

Brown pled guilty to three out of seven charges, which included assault, using a handgun in a violent crime, and illegally owning a handgun due to a prior conviction. He was sentenced to ten years and four years of probation.
