DURHAM — “A Quiet Place Part III,” the latest installment in the horror-thriller franchise starring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, has begun filming in a small Greene County town.
The film crew set up a base camp at the Michael J. Quill Irish Cultural and Sports Centre off state Route 145 in Durham. They filmed scenes at least on Monday and Tuesday, including on Decker Lane.
The “A Quiet Place” series, directed by “The Office” alum Krasinski, follows a family navigating the post-apocalypse. Earth has been invaded by violent aliens who have no eyes but a startlingly keen sense of hearing. The family must live in complete silence to survive…
