DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — A High Point man has been found guilty of death by distribution and involuntary manslaughter of an infant in connection with a 2024 case that killed an adult and an infant in Davidson County, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.
Donta Octovius Williams will serve between 199 and 257 months (16.6-21.4 years) in prison, the sheriff’s office said.
The case began in June 2024, when detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office opened a narcotics death investigation after an adult and an infant were found dead in a Davidson County residence, according to the sheriff’s office.
