NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — There is a push by several states and Congress to end the practice of changing the clocks twice a year.
Nineteen states, including Tennessee, have already passed legislation to make Daylight Saving Time permanent.
On Tuesday, July 14, the Sunshine Protection Act — to make Daylight Saving Time permanent — passed through the House. To become law, it must pass the Senate and then be signed by President Trump.
