Hundreds evacuated after natural gas line ruptures in downtown Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — Hundreds of people in several buildings in downtown Sacramento were evacuated Tuesday afternoon after construction crews ruptured a natural gas line, fire officials said.

Construction crews hit a large natural gas line at the intersection of 11th Street and H Street around 1:40 p.m., according to the Sacramento Fire Department.
