SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Leaders in Seminole County are preparing for possible service cuts if a property tax reform amendment on Florida’s November ballot is approved by voters.
The amendment would ask voters statewide to decide whether people should pay less in property taxes on homestead properties. Seminole County leaders said the county would lose $119 million in revenue if the measure passes.
