Weld crews to continue CR 29 work this month

Weld County road crews will be setting their sights on County Road 29, helping to make a three-mile-stretch west of Eaton better able to carry heavy vehicles.

The county is set to begin paving the three miles of County road 29 between County Road 74 and Colorado Highway 392, according to a news release on July 8.

“It’s important that our roads safely and efficiently meet today’s needs as well as future demand,” said Scott James, Weld County Commissioner Chair. “This project will help County Road 29 do both of those things.”

The road would be closed from July 20 through Oct. 30, while it is being rebuilt and paved. Road detours can be viewed on Weld County’s Road Advisory Map, https://apps.weld.gov/publicworks/roadadvisory/…
