Honoring Neill’s preference for privacy, his family plans to hold a private memorial at his farm in New Zealand at a later date. Grenz expressed gratitude to those close to Neill for respecting the family’s need for discretion during this difficult time.
Neill had announced he was cancer-free in April after completing a clinical trial in Australia. Diagnosed in 2022, he underwent CAR-T cell therapy to treat his rare blood cancer.
