ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) – Virginia State Police is investigating a fatal crash in Rockingham County where a man from Grottoes died Wednesday, according to a VSP release.
At about 7:30 a.m., VSP received a report of a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Oak Shade Road. VSP said its preliminary investigation suggests Cristian Fuentes Pizarro, 41, of Grottoes was traveling at a high rate of speed heading east before running off the right side of the road. The motorcycle then went through a fence and Fuentes Pizarro was ejected, VSP added.
