EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — A suspect is in custody after deputies say they hit a Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department vehicle.
Authorities say deputies saw Isaiah Jazz Pulley driving a gold Toyota Camry near the intersection of Covert and Jackson Avenue on Wednesday. Deputies say they knew he had an arrest warrant on forgery and counterfeiting charges.
Deputies say when they pulled Pulley over, he struck a patrol vehicle and fled the scene. Pulley then led deputies on a short chase, but it was ended for safety reasons.
Later on Wednesday afternoon, deputies found Pulley’s vehicle and attempted another traffic stop. Pulley led deputies on a second chase that lasted approximately 10 minutes and covered about 7.5 miles through multiple city streets…
