GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – A third suspect in an Upstate murder that took place in June is being held in Greenville County after extradition from North Carolina, according to online jail records.
Greenville County court officials confirmed that 20-year-old Raimon St. John Campbell Jr. remains in jail after being denied bond Tuesday night.
Greenville County deputies said that Campbell was arrested at a water park in Boone after being charged with the following:
- Murder
- (2 counts) Attempted murder
- Possession of a weapon during a violent crime
The shooting
Greenville County officials said a 911 call came in on June 26 about a gunshot victim who was lying in the road. Upon arrival, the victim, later identified as 21-year-old Jordan Elijah Rouse, was pronounced dead on scene.
Two other suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting, officials said. Here’s a look at their charges:
- Nylan Antraveon Harris, 20, was arrested on June 27 and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Jail records show that he is also facing two counts of attempted murder.
- Zavion Bryce Cherry, 20, was arrested on June 29 and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
